| Brief Description | Despite advances in technology and progress in knowledge and experiences of surgery for congenital heart disease (CHD) in Jakarta, surgical mortality remains high. One of the unique problems in patients with CHD in Indonesia may include late referral and thus leading to advanced pulmonary hypertension and infection in ICU before and after surgery. In particular, PH and lung injuries are the main problems in Indonesian patients after congenital heart surgery. The perfect answer may be impossible and is limited. To achieve this purpose, we promote to use the teleconference. Using this modality, we can talk and discuss to improve the outcomes of the patients following congenital heart surgery in Indonesia. The preveous success of the teleconference between KCMC and Harapan Kita from 2017 to 2018 encouraged us to proceed to telecommunication and recognize each other. We will apply the present teleconference by the cooperation with Harapan Kita National Cardiac Center, Jakarta, and Pediatric Cardiac ICU in two leading cardiac centers in Japan. |
